DISTRICT STATISTICAL DEPARTMENT

The District Statistical department headed by The District Statistical Officer,undertakes the following major activities in the district.

1. Taking of National Sample Survey (Both Urban & Rural).

2. Registration of Birth & Death.

3. Weekly Price statistics (Retail only).

4. Census of Nagaland Govt. Employees (annually).

5. Village level development indicators (Annually).

6. Family budget survey (Daily for 365 days) 3Ebs- 30 households.

7. Other Ad-hoc surveys from time to time.
