DISTRICT PLANNING MACHINERY

The District Planning machinery headed by Assistant Planning Officer was established in Phek district in the year 1987.A full-fledged District Planning Officer took over the charge in 1994.

District Planning Officer (DPO) is the member secretary of District Planning & Development Board (DPDB). The main function of the District Planning Machinery is to co-ordinate with various departmental activities and implementing District Plan and Border Area Development Schemes.
