LAND RECORD & SURVEY DEPARTMENT


The Department in the district is headed by the Land Record and Survey Officer. The department surveys and maintains land records in the district.
Since the inception of the department in the district, it has physically surveyed and found various land areas as under:(source-District-plan 2002-03)
       1.Administrative land area   : 14642125 Sq. Mtrs.
       2.Government pocket land     :  1328694 Sq. Mtrs.
       3.Private land area          :   158955 Sq. Mtrs.

Besides, the department is conducting re-detail survey work in Phek and Pfutsero administrative headquarters.
