Kikruma Block comprises of 8 (Govt. recognised) villages.Kikruma village under this block is the biggest village among the villages in Phek district.

The inhabitants of this block with a population of 28,271 2001 census (Provisional) are the Chakhesang tribe and the spoken language is mainly "Chokri". Sukrunyi the main festival of this people is celebrated on 15th of January.

Agriculture is the main occupation of the people of this Block. Rice (Terrace Rice Cultivation ) is the main crop cultivated.

COMMUNICATION : Bus and Taxi services are available connecting the block headquarter,Phek (92 Kms.) with the district headquarter and the State capital, Kohima (53Kms.).
